Resort Gems is an Online Marketplace for Timeshare Rentals

• Millions of people own timeshare properties and over half the time try to trade them, give them away or rent their units if they’re not being used
• Timeshare owners list these properties on our site for rent, typically at prices 30-50% less than what resorts charge
• We list these units for rent and call them “Gems”, because they’ve been hard to find and rent until now, and they’re very valuable
• We manage the payments - from the renter and to the owner, and guarantee the reservation reducing the risk to both parties

Why Timeshares are Better Than Hotels

• The rooms are bigger – usually 2 and 3 bedroom suites so people can spread out and feel more “at home” while on vacation
• Most have kitchens so eating in is an option
• Timeshare resorts are managed by companies like Marriott, Wyndham, Hilton and Disney, so you know what you’re getting

How This Works

• Owners list their properties for rent and set the price
• Renters search for Gems by location, date, price or bedrooms, find the best Gem for them and book online
• We get the reservation from the owner and pay them, less our fee
• We send a confirmed reservation to the renter and bill their credit card

• We were founded in May, 2009 and are located in Powell, Ohio
• The founders were tired of not getting their money’s worth on their timeshares and knew how valuable they could be as rentals
